Heep Hong Society
Support autistic youth employment
Youths with autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and special educational needs are not necessarily inferior to others in their ability to work or even have advantages. However, various obstacles such as social communication and behavioral management make them face different difficulties in work. Heep Hong Society provides individual counseling and support for people with autism. It analyzes personal interests, abilities and characteristics in order to plan future career paths and provide practical workplace communication skills and problem-solving skills to help them cope with various challenges related to further studies, employment and interpersonal relations during their growths.
Support from business enterprises allows students to obtain support in the areas of employment matching, employer liaison and fellowship support.
