Assistant IT Manager

  • To be responsible for leading a team to provide IT/AV support services;
  • To provide training of IT services and Cybersecurity for the users;
  • To develop cybersecurity policies and implement the cybersecurity controls;
  • To be responsible for the overall planning and development of IT infrastructure to meet the organizational and operational needs;
  • To oversee the maintenance of hardware & software, network facilities, implementation and monitoring of IT cybersecurity measures and the helpdesk and technical support services; 
  • To collaborate with the software application team and provide technical advice on issues related to the implementation & licensing of application systems; 
  • To source and liaise with vendors for IT solutions, projects and equipment;
  • To identify/assess technological and informational needs, and to make recommendations to the Management on how to meet these needs with an aim to better leverage IT to enhance the business performance; 
  • To formulate action plan for IT projects related to infrastructure and be responsible for overseeing its implementation;
  • To assist the Head of IT in formulating the IT strategy, IT budget, IT policies, guidelines and procedures; 
  • To be directly responsible to the Head of IT and to perform any other related duties as required by the supervisor;
  • Perform other related duties, on-site support, ad hoc tasks, and projects as required or assigned. And over time work;
  • Overtime work may be necessary in case of any emergencies.
