Assistant Corporate Development Manager (Donor Engagement)

Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement donor recruitment and retention programmes to meet the Society’s annual fundraising targets
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a fundraising team to successfully execute programmes and activities, with a particular focus on the Face-to-Face (F2F) channel
  • Assist in recruiting fundraising staff and designing impactful training programmes to boost productivity and enhance overall fundraising performance
  • Assist in managing the public and donor database; perform data analysis to provide strategic insights, reports, and actionable recommendations
  • Oversee the planning and execution of exhibitions and fundraising events, including venue sourcing, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination
  • Devise and implement public outreach strategies and engagement events to attract community partners and elevate brand awareness
  • Copywrite and edit compelling fundraising and donor relations materials, including newsletters, direct mail/online appeals, invitations, proposals, and donor acknowledgement letters
  • Plan, develop, and drive the marketing and engagement strategies for the Legacy Donation programme, cultivating relationships with prospects and managing legacy donor stewardship
  • End-to-end management of the annual Charity Raffle campaign, including regulatory compliance/licensing, ticket sales drives, corporate prize solicitation, and distribution channel coordination
Qualifications
  • Degree or tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or marketing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/people management role
  • Experience gained within an NGO, non-profit organization, or fundraising agency is highly preferred
  • Solid experience in managing face-to-face (F2F) monthly giving programmes or sales teams is highly advantageous. Exposure to managing charity raffles or legacy (bequest) giving is a major plus
  • Target-oriented and self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently, meet fundraising KPIs, and excel under pressure
  • Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and motivating a frontline or target-driven team
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on exposure to CRM/donor database management and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute public events, outreach campaigns, and stakeholder initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and copywriting skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese) is required
