Participants of the Seminars on Fine Motor Training given free copies of The Finger Fun Activity

Fine motor skills developed at the pre-primary stage have a direct bearing on children’s self-care, play and academic performance. For children with fine motor developmental delay, early and proper training is of great importance to their growth.
To help parents and teachers understand the importance of fine motor development of pre-primary children and how children can learn through intriguing parent-child activities, two seminars were held on 3 July and 10 July for 200 teachers and parents.
All participants were given a complementary copy of The Finger Fun Activity Guide newly published by Heep Hong’s Occupational Therapy Department to facilitate the fine motor development of pre-primary children through over 100 parent-child activities in a joyful atmosphere. The book was sponsored by the Partnership Fund for The Disadvantaged,
Between September and October 2010, a series of seminars on fine motor development will be held across the territory, participants will be given a complimentary copy of The Finger Fun Activity Guilde. For details, please click here.
