The incomparable culinary experience, Heep Hong’s annual fundraising event, The Great Chefs of Hong Kong, returns to Grand Hyatt Hong Kong for its 22nd anniversary to the delight of Hong Kong gastronomes on 19 June 2014 (Thursday). Renowned chefs, hotels, wine suppliers and entertainers donate their time, energy and produce to the event year after year in support of children with special needs and their families. Today (22 May 2014), Hong Kong artists Mr Sunny Chan, Mrs Ada To and their son Edgar, Mrs Nicola Cheung Young, Michelin-starred chefs, and children with special needs of Heep Hong Society decorated fruits together, appealing to the community for support of the 22nd Great Chefs of Hong Kong.
Presenting nearly 50 of the city's top food and beverage establishments, the Great Chefs are uniting on a pro-bono basis for one of the year's best culinary events. Celebrities, socialites and food enthusiasts alike are invited to join Hong Kong's top Chefs at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on 19 June 2014 for a cultured evening to raise money for a good cause. Epicureans can choose among three dining options at the Grand Hyatt: a Great Chefs General ticket (HK$800) will guarantee a place in the Grand Ballroom where one can enjoy fine champagne and signature dishes of over 30 different outlets; a Great Chefs Plus ticket (HK$1,380) gains entry into the Grand Ballroom plus a seat at one of the Grand Rooms where patrons will be hosted by five or more Chefs and select wine companies; The Star Chefs Plus experience will be held between 7-10pm in The Tiffin Lounge (HK$1,800 per ticket) where around 10 Chefs will cook for and entertain guests, who will enjoy the sensation of premium wine, fine food and good conversations. In the meantime, the 2014 Grand Raffle of Heep Hong Society will be held between 25 April 2014 and 7:30pm on 19 June 2014. Generously contributed by our donors and corporate partners, the total prize value of this year’s Raffle sale is over HK$150,000. The grand prize offers the winner two business class round-trip tickets from Hong Kong to Japan sponsored by Cathay Pacific. Other prizes, to name a few, include hotel accommodation, cruise experience and professional camera sets.
Raffle tickets will be available for sale at a price of HK$20 each at all Heep Hong centres in Hong Kong and online.
All proceeds from Great Chefs and Grand Raffle go to Heep Hong Society, ensuring that local children with special needs receive timely education and training services.
Remarks: Raffle tickets ordered online or by mail will be sent out by local mail within 10 working days upon receipt of payment. The lucky draw will take place on 19 June 2014 at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on the occasion of the 22nd Great Chefs of Hong Kong.
